More success yesterday with all three boys securing good wins. It was my turn to watch Henry and James play at home games at Takapuna Rugby. Ange got to take the teenager to his home match against Westlake B.
James’ team had an easy victory over a Silverdale side that just didn’t tackle enough.. however they did manage to bring James down just short of the try-line. That first try still beckons but I don’t think we’ll have to wait too long..
James’ break for the line.. stopped only metres short–where was the support!!

Henry had a good game in the backs.. still not sure what position he should play - he is still figuring it out for himself. His team had a convincing victory against Glenfield and Henry had a couple of good plays with the ball, including this short run below where he was stopped and ‘spear tackled’ by a girl in the other team.
