Weekend Report

If the last three days are any prediction of what summer will be like then I'll need more swimming trunks...

The readings were: Fri 14º, Sat 16º and today (Sunday) they peaked at 18º Celsius. I should clarify that this was the temperature of our swimming pool. Also pleased to report that we have the BBQ sorted and spent most of the weekend in or around the pool.

The days are pretty long.. we have started having most meals outside as its very still and pleasant, it was still 26º at 8pm tonight.

Villefranche was buzzing with activity today, there was an Élite International bike race (135km) that started and finished in the main street. We went down to check out the start and catch a few laps (there were 11 laps in total).

Two New Zealander's Peter Latham (Abli Velo Sport) and Mark Langland (CA Castelsarrasin), were in the race. Both cyclists are vying for Olympic qualification. Hope they enjoyed the "Go Kiwi" support.
