Pari Roller

We had dinner in Montparnasse on Friday night followed by a stroll around the theatre district. We stumbled across this roller blade event by surprise, check out the video opposite.

This group organises these outings every Friday night at 10pm through the streets of Paris (return at 1am).

Looks like fun.

Paris by Night

I am hanging on by a thread. Jack is snoring up a storm behind me and I will soon be joining him. Our hotel is just over a km away from the Eiffel Tower, so it was our first stop on our walk tonight.

We eventually ended up in the theatre district around Montparnasse for dinner and made it back home around 11:30.. both very tired.

France is marking its six-month presidency of the European Union by lighting up the Eiffel Tower in blue with yellow stars. The stars sparkle for 10 or so minutes even hour - an amazing sight (especially when it catches you by surprise - check out the video below).

We have arrived in the big smoke!  Jack finally realised the  destination around an hour and half ago.. well into the trip.  He doesn't yet know about tomorrow.

We have just booked into our modest hotel and the first thing he wanted to do was talk to his brothers.  Hope that isn't causing you any problems down south Ange.

Well, Internet is switched on and we are now off exploring.
