The lady and the bath

Ange has wanted a clawfoot bath ever since she was a little girl growing up in the eighteenth century (or thereabouts).  Her wish came true a few weeks ago when she bought this huge beast on trademe. 
It was finally delivered today and I have to admit it looks great.. now all we need to do is reinforce the bathroom floor so it can be installed.

    If you know me, you know I have a fascination for all things old and with a bit of history behind them. This bath is a beauty and I was rapt to discover she is not an import but a Mainlander, just like me. Made in Christchurch many moons ago.
