October School Holidays 2009

The boys and I had a great road-trip during the second week of the break. We were joined by Jack's friend Matthew and his dad Craig. First stop was at the top of the Bombay hills where we got to admire the steam coming from under the bonnet of dad's car = blown head gasket. Great. A quick car swap, thanks Ange, and we were heading south again just in time to make our appointment for the Ruakuri cave at Waitomo.  Then we headed even further south and stayed at a cool batch in Raetihi and had a great day skiing at Turoa before heading up to Rotorua for a final few days of fun and adventure.  Check out James at the top of the ladder at The Wall rock climbing in Rotorua.
